Calvert County

While Calvert County is the smallest county in Southern Maryland, it is one of the fastest growing counties in the State. Located just 46 miles from Washington, D.C., it still retains its rural character and agrarian roots, while offering good schools, a clean environment and good quality of life. Calvert is a peninsula, with the Chesapeake Bay on the east and the Patuxent River on the west.
